Ugh. Working out and eating clean. If you are like me, those are the farthest things from your mind right now. Who wants to eat chicken breast and brown rice with broccoli every day? I sure don’t, but I know I need to. This Facebook challenge is to track my weight, gains/losses and includes motivation and tips. I don’t know who else is coming on this journey with me, but I sure could use some support. I have never held myself accountable in this capacity before. I plan on posting pics, doing FB Live videos and blogging. This will be for my son as well, he is going to be a big part of this and oddly enough, it was his idea.
So here is a general plan. I am currently working on becoming a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Sports Nutritionist, I have researched this kind of thing for years and I know whose advice works and who is just talking. I will post motivational videos as well as relevant pics and blog posts. As far as the actual physical stuff, I will be swimming or rowing almost every day and lifting heavy 4 days a week. I realize the cardio days will cancel out the lifting heavy days, but I’m not going to bulk just yet. I need to get my body adapted to exercising a lot, muscles need to remember how to grow and stamina needs a kick in the ass.
What is your part in this? Well, for starters you could post your progress pics, diet plan, workout and whatever is working for you right now. I do not want this to be a quiet page, the whole purpose is to get involved and make a change. Good luck and May the Force be with us!
